Edo period Iron Votive Candle stand

Hand forged iron branches out into a five pointed candelabra dating from the Edo period. The unusual form rises from scrolling wooden legs. It is 52 x 25 x 50 cm and in excellent condition. This type of candle stand would have been used to offer candles at a shrine or temple.
