A fan hand painted with a Chinese tower surrounded by trees and soaring birds by Tomita Keisen enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Sansui-no-zu (landscape scene) and dated an Autumn day in 1938. It is made by gluing two sheets of paper onto a set of hinged bamboo spines. Folded it is 30 cm (12 inches) long, and is in overall fine condition. The back of the fan has some light age spots, the front is very clean.
