Mid-century Japanese Ceramic Vase, Spectacular Design
Please refer to our stock # TCR7826 when inquiring.
A daring pattern in black decorates the white body of this voluminous moon-jar shaped Tsubo dating from the post-war era （１９５３－１９６３）stamped on the base by the artist. The stylized seal appears to read Hiro, a common character in given names, or possibly Mitsuru. It is roughly 32.5 cm (13 inches) diameter, the same height, and in excellent condition.
