| One of a pair of sumi-e six panel screens covered in a forest of soft ink bamboo with gold highlights signed Tomonori (Yuki). The bamboo appears lit from a patch of blue fog, gold highlights shimmering on the leaves. Transparency in the leaves gives one the sense of being transported to some mystical time. Who will gather amongst the golden leaves? The pigment and ink on paper canvas is bordered in a simple frame of black lacquer. Each screen measures6 feet by 153 inches (182.5 x 388 cm) fully extended. The screens are in excellent condition dating from the middle of the 20th century. Although a set, we are offering the screens individually. Should someone wish to keep the pair together an appropriate discount will be offered. | |||||||||||||
