| 2 scissor-tailed ospreys soar playfully before a massive sun-dappled falls on this silk scroll by Terasawa Taiken enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The torrent is defined solely with dashes of light color intimating sunlight glistening off the dark stone and froth. A very unusual approach showing only the reflection and leaving the imagination to fill the vast areas of white with sound and current. The scene is bordered in patterned blue silk extended with gray and features ivory capped rollers. The scroll is 22 x 79-1/2 inches (56 x 202 cm) and is in fine condition. | |||||||||||
