Two boys wrestle, one gaining advantage for a throw, a fine wooden sculpture signed simply underneath with the family name Yokoyama and place Etchu Inami. It is 8 x 5-1/2 x 7 inches (19 x 14 x 17 cm) and likely dates from the Taisho to early Showa era, c. 1920. Inami is a town famous for wood carving in Toyama prefecture.
