Three unique sets of sake flasks dating from the early 20th century, each enclosed in the original signed wooden box. First is a set decorated with fish and crabs among water plants in sometsuke blue on white between diapers of red and gold by Tominaga Kishiro of Kutani. Enclosed is the kiln card listing the phone number as 73. These are 5 inches (13 cm) tall and in excellent condition. Next a pair earth toned works in the Ninsei style by Eiraku Zengoro, 5-1/2 inches (14 cm) tall and in excellent condition. Third a pair of Kutani vases styled after old Imari with unusual flat bases, 6-1/2 inches (16.5 cm) tall decorated in underglaze blue and white with plum, pine and bamboo in overglaze enamel. There are three hairline cracks in the body of one of these. Otherwise all are in excellent condition.
