| A tile used as a shiki-ita (base plate for a Kama-Buro) in the Tea Room from an estate we recently acquired. A Daruma wheel in center relief is surrounded by floral arabesques. The hand molded clay is roughly fired and minor chips only serve to enhance the sense of age. Perfect for the tea room setting and a good match to the Kozai Robuchi just listed. The piece is 31.5 x 31.5 x 4 cm (12-1/2 x 12-1/2 x 1-1/2 inches) and is in excellent condition. | |||||||||||
