The Kura - Japanese Art Treasures
As many may know we at The Kura have been heavily involved in the relief effort in Tohoku following the 2011, March 11 Earthquake and Tsunami which killed at least 26,000 people, and left hundreds of thousands homeless. During this last year we have neglected the website, and inconvenienced many with delays in service. Please know it was not without good reason, and your patience and understanding through this difficult time for Japan has been very much appreciated. For more on our efforts please see http://www.idrojapan.org
After this first year anniversary we are now looking forward to getting back to the business of collection building, and look forward to working with you again in 2012. Sincerely: Robert Mangold Owner, The Kura - Director, International Disaster Relief Organization Japan
