This is a set of 10 Dango-zara dishes served with sweets at the Miyako Odori Geisha/Maiko Dancing event held anuualy in the Gion in Kyoto. Visitors to the dance are allowed to take the dish home as a souvenier. They are made by different potters every year, and here we have a selection of potters incluing Kiyomizu Rokubei and Eiraku Zengoro. Each dish is roughly 5 inches (13 cm) diameter 1 inch (3 cm) tall and all are in fine condition dating from the early 20th century.
