A souring image of Kannon rising on swirling clouds above the earth, pouring out a bottle from one hand, the other grasping a lotus blossom. The robes swirl about in an amazing array of carving technique. It is signed on the base Ryuichi-saku and stands over 16 inches (41 cm) tall. There are no chips or cracks and it is in fine condition enclosed in the original signed wooden box.

A bronze image of three firemen battling a blaze titled Bosai (Extinguishing the Flames) by Hanada Kazuo enclosed in the original signed wooden box. This is a small version of the wildly popular wooden carving submitted by him in 1956 to the Nitten national exhibition. It is 24 cm tall and in fine condition, weighing almost 4 kg (8.5 lbs).

Raised Cloisonné flowers decorate the lid of this brass Suzuri Bako Writing box made by the Ando Studio and enclosed in a silk lined custom wood box. Inside is lacquered black, and contains the never used ink-grinding stone (Suzuri) as well as a suiteki of the same brass and cloisonne design set into a wooden tray with rests built in for brushes. It bears the Ando mark on the base and is in fine condition, measuring 10 x 7 inches (18 x 26 cm).

White cranes soar in front of the rising sun on this spectacular cloisonné writing by by the Ando Studio marked on the base. Inside a suzuri stone and matching suiteki water dropper are set onto a lacquer wooden tray between brush stands. The piece is in excellent condition, 24 x 25-1/2 x 5 cm (9-1/2 x 10-1/2 x 2 inches) and comes enclosed in a kiri-wood kabuse bako box.

A hanging basket deriving its style from a merchants cash basket which would have hung near the front of a stall or shop, in easy reach to the vendor to both make change and hold payments. Unlike the vendors basket, this is of a much wider weave of thin cane bamboo. It is 12-1/2 inches (33 cm) tall including the handle, 9 inches (23 cm) diameter and is in fine condition, signed on the base. It can be displayed either hanging or standing flat.

An antique Black paper accordion Album with lacquered covers decorated with delicate feathers made by the premier lacquer studio of Kyoto, Zohiko. It is 14-1/2 x 11 inches (37 x 27 cm) and comes enclosed in the original wooden box stamped by Zohiko. It is in fine condition but for one tiny flaw in the lacquer (see photos).
