Crystals blossom on the white surface of this elegant from by Seifu Yohei III. It is 8 inches (21 cm) tall and in excellent condition. The incised signature on the base of the work is consistent with pieces from the early Taisho period. The box is signed by the fourth Seifu, and dated the year after the death of Seifu III.

A 19th century Yixing oblong ovoid from the Koto Kiln (Japanese reading) in China, stamped on the base Kuzumeisho-sei (Ge Mingxiang). Guaranteed genuine of course. A wood Sweets container repurposed from an Edo period mokugyo prayer drum enclosed in a period wooden box, the inscription within dated Bunka 8 (1812) and titled Mokugyo Kashi Ire. A pair of rare Koto-yaki sake flasks decorated with florals and dating from the 19th century. Written on the side is the kiln name Koto (East Lake). Each piece is roughly 6 inches (15 cm) tall and in fine condition but for a chip on the inside of the foot ring of one.
